When Mingjue moves, sits up, Xichen's gaze follows him before he moves as well, shifting to sit up so they're more or less facing each other, his fingers squeezing Mingjue's hand when he begins to speak. And the words have him silent, never looking away although he does give him time to finish. And then he just lifts a hand, fingers resting against Mingjue's cheek.
"I have it already, Mingjue-xiong. Being able to tell you the things I never said before...Seeing you like you like this again. I couldn't ask for more than that." He's quiet for a moment before he reaches up though, removing the ribbon from his forehead, fingers yanking at until the fabric breaks down the middle, his eyes focusing on Mingjue's face.
"...But if I'm allowed to be selfish, then..." He offers one half of the ribbon to Mingjue, the silk lying over his palm. "I want you to keep this on you..."
